I will adhere to all safety standards required by U.K Law or my Professional
Body.

regulations set out by the Healthcare Commission

I will at all times maintain all insurance as required

I will maintain professional,
ethical and moral behaviour at all times.

I will protect the privacy
and modesty of all clients receiving
treatments from me.

I will not discriminate against
anybodys ethnic origin, disability, sexuality, religion, marital status or social or political standing.

I will not suggest
treatments to clients that I know will not give the desired results.

Before treatment I will
explain fully either in writing or verbally all the procedures involved in
the treatment

Where a client has an
existing medical condition I will ensure that I have the client’s informed
consent in writing to perform the treatment or that of the client’s medical
practitioner.

I will not perform any treatment until a Client Consent Form/ Consultation has
been completed and signed.

I will maintain comprehensive and confidential client record cards.

I will not pass off products
to be from a different manufacturer.

I will only
perform treatments I am qualified to deliver.

If a client’s
treatment is outside my field of training or professional qualification I will
refer them to a more suitably qualified medical professional

I will ensure that
my marketing material is accurate and does not suggest to any
qualification or experience not obtained and I will not suggest treatments can
offer more than they are capable of.

I will always respect my fellow colleagues

Members must not countermand
instructions or prescriptions given by a doctor.

I will ensure that
any of my employees are qualified and adhere to this Code of
Ethics while employed by me.

I will continue improving my
knowledge and professional standards and care.

I will voluntarily
surrender my BAAAC membership if I breach any of the Rules of this
association or this code of ethics.
I understand that if I do not adhere to these minimum requirements of my
professional conduct then that BAAAC reserves the right to remove me as an BAAAC
Member.
